Phuket Package Holiday in Low Season
October is the month considered to be the peak point of the low season in Phuket and in all of Thailand due to the hot weather experienced by the whole country during this month. However, most people tend to visit Thailand especially Phuket in the low seasons since at this time of the year beaches are mostly empty and hotel deals are at its lowest. Moreover, the streets are also not that busy in comparison with how it looks like during the high season so tourists and visitors alike can have the streets to them and walk with ease. Every rate in Phuket are all cut off starting from 20% to 70% less than their original prices so the trip during the low season is more affordable than with the high season.
The low season in Phuket normally starts on May and ends in the month of October. Temperature rises up to 31 degree Celsius and 30 degree Celsius from May to October. Although May can be a hot month, humidity is high which makes rainfall increase during the month. This makes May as one of the wettest time of the year in the country. However, the sun still shines after every short rain showers. It is known that the low season in Phuket has already started when the number of tourists visiting has been dramatically reduced. For this reason, various package holiday deals and promos are being held up by hotels and other travel booking companies that offer deals with big discounts which is more than 50% off their prices.
Continuing the low season in June, July and August when the average temperature is 26 degree Celsius to 31 degree Celsius, marks even bigger discounts on package holiday deals. These three consecutive months are the best time to consider going to Phuket if traveling is booked during the low season. Perks available in these months are cheaper flights to the country and much cheaper hotels are available. There is also a better chance of sunshine than in the month of May.
Down to September the weather gets worse than when it is in May. Temperature ranges from 24 degree Celsius to 29 degree Celsius on the average. Unfortunately, it is the wettest month in Phuket and too much humidity makes it hard for travel companies to recommend a visit to Phuket. The only upside when visiting Phuket in September is that there are few tourists, the attention and all perks and privileges will be given just to make a package holiday deal work. It is also the month where the cheapest rates on flight and hotel deals are available.
Phuket during low season can be worse than imagined but Phuket has so many things to offer even at its ugliest moment or time. The best deal is on its charming people and how they welcome and treat their guests during this time of the year. Believe it or not, Phuket is beautiful even in its worst time.
