Package’s deals for the Merlin Beach Resort can be obtained through any major travel agency in most western countries; you will find a large percentage of British, European and Australian families staying at the Merlin Beach Resort, this is because this particular hotel gets plenty of publicity in these countries!

Chedi Hotel Phuket is another fantastic option, especially if you are going to be on a smaller budget and are looking to get the most out of your holiday! The hotel comes complete with a restaurant, 3 types of rooms and friendly staff! While staying at this hotel, I used the in-room safe to hold about $5600 AUD and it was not touched once! This may be something that is expected, but for the cheap room they provide it is amazing the staff is so loyal and honest to guests!

The Chedi Hotel, Phuket is only about 2minutes from Bangla Rd, 1 Minute from the beach and a short tuk tuk drive to the Airport!  Chedi Hotel will arrange for Hotel transfers for about 1200bht, something that is worth looking into as a meter taxi will always cost at least 800, and more like 1000-1500; why not trust the Chedi Hotel Transfer, much safer then a taxi (although tuk tuk / taxi is very safe)

Horizon Beach Resort, Phuket is another great option; but one you would only pick if you have some money to burn! With the basic room starting at 2500bht, you can expect unbelievable service, quiet surroundings, free wine and a butler! Yes the Horizon Beach Resort in Phuket is a fantastic option for Single’s and Honeymooners alike! With 2 restaurants, a fantastic pool and staff that is always smiling (its the land of smiles *duh*) you will always have a great time staying at the Horizon Beach Resort in Phuket!

While only been about 20minutes from the main center of Patong, you are blessed with quiet surroundings, friendly people, cheaper shopping then that in Phuket Town or Patong and all for a cheap price at the resort!

The major (200+ Rooms) resorts will all be outside of Patong (bar the famous ones), this is because it is easier and cheaper for them to set the hotel up! As Patong is such a small area, that is very built up, it is hard for new resorts to be built in that area – although you can find many new ones popping up; to gain access large parts of Bagla Rd are having heavy construction work done!

Bangla Rd Phuket also has some fantastic bars that should be seen! Bars located on Bangla Rd that are worth a mention are;

-Octopus – An Australian owned and operated Bar, while they do not focus on the best looking girls they do ensure the girls working there are trust worthy, kind, honest and fun! Octopus bar is a great experience, and you can be sure there are no Lady Boys!

- Bonkers Bar – Bonkers Bar has some of the sexiest girls that Patong, Phuket has to offer! With table tops for the girls to dance on, and a bar fine of only 300bht; you are sure to have a memrable night with one of the Thai Girls from Bonkers Bar!

- Aussie Bar – Located on the north end of Bangla Rd, Aussie Bar would be one of the largest Bars on Bangla Rd, and as the name suggests – you will always be able to find plenty of Aussies to have a drink and chat with!

There are also a number of Lady Boys on Bangla Rd, while this shouldn’t be an issue normally there have been some minor reports of robberies and pick pocketing from the Lady Boy’s of Patong. It is advised that tourist’s try to watch out at all times and ensure that a lady boy does not try to pick your pocket. If you are concerned about not been able to tell the difference between a Lady Boy and a Thai Girl, Phuket Deals believes these are some of the most common things to look out for.

- Big Hands: When a man gets the chop and turns into a lady boy, there is not much that can be done about the size of the persons hands!

- Big Feet: Same as the hands, you cant change much about the size of your feet!

- Adams Apple: While it is more and more common to see Lady Boys with no Adams Apple, it is still a great sign to watch out for!

The Lady Boys on Bangla Rd Patong Beach can be fun and exciting, and they can also be angry and touchy so you should watch out at all times! Bangla Rd Thailand also has some fantastic shops on the west side, if you walk down you will constantly be grabbed by tout’s, shop owners and jewellry supplies trying to pry you in to look at there stock! Bangla Rd Thailand is one of the more expensive area’s to shop in, so if you are looking for a check bargain it may be worth avoiding Bangla Rd and looking at the smaller area’s such as Karon or Kata.

The Patong Nightlife Girls are generally sweet, innocent seeming creature’s, they don’t give off big vibes they are after your money but they will hope be end up been your holiday girlfriend if you are not careful! Phuket girls are not always bar girls or freelance girls, many will work in hotels, cafes and what not earning a living that doesn’t revolve around sleeping with western men; this is not to say they will not be found in Hollywood or Tiger each and every night, hoping for that rich farang to take them for the night and offer some baht in exchange!

There are many Thai Bar Girls in Phuket, many will be hardcore, deep in the scene! You can usually tell these girls, as they will have a perfect knowledge of every hotel in the area, the team at Phuket Deals have experienced this with a number of hotels including,

- Amora Beach Resort, Phuket – While at the Amora, one of the team members at Phuket Deals picked up a girl, drank far to much; to the point he could not remember where the hotel was. Thankfully the Thai Bar Girl he picked up had a perfect knowledge and even new the staff by name!

- Cape Panwa Hotel, Phuket – While I personally stayed in this hotel to offer a review, a Bar Girl from Bangkok, who is known on the Bangkok Deals site called me and new of the hotel perfectly, all from a 2 week trip in Phuket to earn some extra money while they riot’s happened! Amazing I thought!

- Seaview Patong Hotel, Phuket – The Sea View hotel was totally out of the way, and with a joiner fee of 5000bht I had serious doubts that any Bar Girl would have a clue about this place! Much to my surprise, they all new of it when we spoke at the bar! No one came with me that night, 5000bht Joiner. I don’t think so!

- Banthai Beach Resort, Phuket – While some Phuket Deals team members had family stay, he decided to have some girls from Octopus Bar and Bonkers bar play a trick! He sent them to the hotel, but through the back which they would not be allowed to do! Both these girls new the correct way and had the last laugh!

So, you can start to understand now how clever these bar girls are! Be Safe and have fun!

There is no limit to the number of cheap hotels, phuket, thailand but thats not to say you cant find plenty of 5 star hotels in Phuket, Thailand. Patong beach has a number of smaller style resorts, along with some fantastic and huge resorts owned by Accor, 4P and Others! Travel to Phuket, Thailand is fairly easy as you can get a bus, taxi, plane or boat. Phuket is known as an island, but it is connected to the other partys of Thailand so driving between them is not an issue.

There are a number of beautiful hotels in Phuket, Thailand that will allow you to bring your Thai Ladys back with you, this is a real benefit as many high end resorts will either not allow the lady back into the room, or change you a fair bit extra for that right! It is something I would advise most to avoid because it can get a little annoying paying 2500bht every time you wanna bring a girl to the room!

There are many Phuket Ladies on Patong Beach, Phuket – this is because they will often try to find a westerner who is alone and crack onto them (get onto them) – this can be lots of fun if you are single and alone, on the other hand – if your mrs has just walked to the shop for a drink and she comes back to find 2 stunner thai girls crawling all over you, you might be in for some issues!

Best Pattaya Hotel offers some fantastic deals, much like Phuket but has a much larger red-light district and has limited tourist attractions. Bangkok is a mix between Pattaya and Phuket, while you can find lots of things to do for fun with the family, there is a large area known as Nana Plaza and Soi Cowboy, there is always girls to be found in these area’s!

There are some fantastic deals, with the opportunity to get some Cheap Holidays To Phuket in 2011. 2011 in Phuket will be a year to remember as the Dragon Fist will be out for the first time in many years, and the Thai’s will be very excited to welcome their King to the Island. Read carefully, as some of these are very important! Tourist’s have been getting into a fair bit of strife lately due to not following Thai Customers, and even worse – Thailand’s Laws!

Dont’s

Never tap or touch a Thai person’s head, the head is the highest part of the body and should be shown respect!

Never take a TG back to your room if you do not intend on paying unless you make this clear

Never leave your password with a bike / hire car company, only leave a copy

Never ride the Jet Ski’s, many tourist’s have been caught out in scams

Tolerance – The thai’s have lots of this, so should you!

Never get upset, the Thai’s rarely do

Avoid loosing your temper, this can cause big problems in LOS.

Thai do not express thanks like we do, if you do a favour accept this

Thai’s do not hug, a firm thank you is enough!

Never point with your forefinger!

Never place your feet so it points toward a person, picture of a royal family member or relgious symbol!

Never step over someone, just walk around!

Avoid Hotel Safety Deposit Box, very rare to have problem but it can happen

Never leave your post card with reception, it will never be sent! Go to the post office your self

Get receipts if you pay for anything in advanced!

Make sure the laundry you get back is yours!

Do make sure you know a person well before accepting a tempting offer.

Never walk into a house with footwear on!

Sit where you are told, when told by a Thai.

It is ok to Wai the elderly

Accept things with your right hand.

Never trust a tall lady with big hands, its a Lady Boy.

Pay any tuk tuk / bike drive the agreed fare

Sun-Hill is one of the best choices you can make, with low prices for huge rooms, fantastic service – a pool AND restaurant – The Sun Hill is truly a gem with-in Patong and Phuket! – Located only 1minute from Bangla, 1 minute from the beach, 40 minutes from the airport – the Sun Hill really is a travelers dream!

The Sun Hill has 3 rooms, The Delux, Suite and VIP – Each is fantastic in each own way, but I can never stop telling people about the VOIP – 9 months of the year, it is around 1900 baht and you get an apartment – that is correct, pretty much you get an apartment and its great! Its 4 rooms, with a large separator in between with sliding doors to contain or open up the area! – you get extremely large balcony’s which 4-5 people could use to lay out in the sun and access to the pool and restaurant!

There are 2 VIP rooms on 2 floors, making 4 rooms in total (I believe). Each room has a mini-kitchenette with hot plate, microwave, large fridge! I would recommend the VIP room to ANYONE who is going to travel to Patong! Please do mention this post as I would love to see some people going there and enjoying it as much as I have!

Phuket Deals! Out!

Patong will be a beautiful place to visit over Christmas! Although Thai people do not celebrate Christmas traditionally they do understand the westerns love for Christmas and put on all the same things you would expect to see in Australia, America or the UK! Bar girls love the Christmas period as customer are usually a little more open to buying lady drinks and giving big tips!

Just a quick update to remind you all that Helmets do save lives! – It might not be cool, but who cares? Who gives a fuck if your hair needs a bit of tending to after you take your helmet off!? – Would you  prefer to be dead?

Sadly, I make this post because a very close family member of mine has recently been struck while coming up Patong Hill on his scooter – the 2 people on the other bike are currently in hospital while my cousin died at the scene. No 1 in this crash had a helmet on!!!!

Any western person can look at Thailand’s driving and realize it is not safe! Its pretty obvious, yet people still take the risk as if it will not happen to them! Guess what, it will if you are not careful! Phuket, Patong, Kamala, Kathu are beautiful places to live or visit, but the roads in these area’s are not safe and extreme caution should be taken!
