Having just got back from Thailand and visiting the Full Moon Party, I really do believe most should avoid it. Thai people are great on the island but you get so many young kids out of Australia for the first time – it really does kill it. Bangla Rd has all the action you need and plenty of Police and Security around to ensure everyone is safe – the Full Moon PArty has none of this.
The Full Moon Party is a massive waste of time. Avoid it and just go to the Island when the party isnt on!!!
There is a show in Australia at the moment all about Thailand and it showed the Full Moon Party… Seems like a very dangerous place to visit.
I went to the Full Moon Party once and will NEVER go back! Was a horrible experience.
