everyone of you, if do you know where is Thailand located?or if you will going to visit Thailand, in what place do you need to go to
enjoy your vacation here.So here are some tourist attractions that you need to visit in Thailand.
Ancient City:The ancient city is 33.5 kilometers southeast of Bangkok, in the neighbouring province of Samut Prakhan. The
theme park boasts impressive scale replicas of Thai ancient monuments, combining a Thai folk art and culture center.
Crocodile Farm Samut Prakarn Crocodile Farm Phuket:It is located on Chana Charoen Road, containing an aquarium, estuarine
crocodile,alligators and the elephant shows.It is located in the vicinity of Tambon Thaiban, three kilometers from the township. it
is claims to be the world’s largest crocodile farm reproducing crocodiles whose skins will be utilized for leatherware production
while their flesh is exported to the market. beside crocodiles of all stages of age, the farm also raises elephants, tigers,
chimpanzies.Crocodile wrestling and feeding are demonstrated everyday.
In addition, visitors will enjoy dinosaur museum, where more than 13 species of life-size creatures of dinosaurs
and skeletons are on display, and a slide multi vision presenting stories on extinct animals and human being.
Hot Springs Chiang Mai:Located at Ban Pin, also 163 kilometres north of Chiang Mai provincial, 50 hot springs occupy a
10-acre forest setting.Three boil continuously with a strong smell of sulphur.Water temperatures at the springs range from 90 to
100 degrees Celsius.
This is located 36 kilometres from town amid natural surroundings of trees and verdant hills. The water has a high
sulphur content and possesses curative and restorative properties. Accommodation, a swimming pool, dining facilities and
segregated mineral water bathing rooms are available. Nearby is Roong Arun Hot Spring Resort which offers bungalows, mineral
baths and sumptuous park setting.
Tourist numbers have grown from 336,000 foreign visitors and 54,000 R&R soldiers in 1967 to over 14 million international
guests visiting Thailand in 2007. The average duration of their stay in 2007 was 9.19 days, generating an estimated 547,782
million Thai baht, around 11 billion Euro. In 2007, Thailand was the 18th most visited country in the World Tourism rankings with
14.5 million visitors. France, comparable to Thailand in land area and population, led the list with nearly 82 million foreign
visitors.
According to the Tourism Authority of Thailand, 55% of the tourists in 2007 came from the Asia Pacific region, Japanese and
Malaysians forming the two biggest groups. The largest groups of Western tourists come from the United Kingdom, Australia,
Germany, the United States and Scandinavia. The number of tourists arriving from the Middle East and Russia is on the
rise.Around 55% of Thailand’s tourists are return visitors. The peak period is during the Christmas and New Year holidays when
Western tourists flee the cold conditions back home.
Domestic tourism has also grown significantly in the past decade. Revenues from domestic tourism have gone from 187,898
million baht in 1998 to 380,417 million baht (approximately 7.8 billion Euro) in 2007.
Asian tourists primarily visit Thailand for Bangkok and the historical, natural and cultural sights in its vicinity. Western tourists
not only visit Bangkok and surroundings but in addition many travel down to the southern beaches and islands. The North is the
main region for trekking and adventure travel with its diverse ethnic minority groups and forested mountains. The region receiving
less tourists is Isan in the north-east. To facilitate foreign visitors, the Thai government established a separate tourism police
with offices in the major tourist areas and its own central emergency telephone numbere increase.

    Its an attraction because its cheap and the girls are as well! haha

    Thailand is an attraction because it is (1) Cheap (2) Fun and (3) Hot…. What more can anyone say besides that?
